Design and Construction of Audio Amplifier
Abstract
Audio Amplifier is a circuit that accepts small audio signal as input to produce a bigger output .The Audio input signal is passed through the OP Amp which will produce the required gain and the transistors wired in complementary Darlington configuration produces the drive for the speaker. It is reliable, efficient and cheap with sensitivity of about 1.22MV and an output power of 40wtts at Vcc supply of +15. The pre-amplifier stage is realized from differential mode transistors and the power stage made from the class a transistors.
