Data collected were processed using the SPSS software package version 21. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics like simple percentages, and frequency tables. The hypotheses were tested using chi-square (χ2) statistical inference. The findings of the study show that there is a relationship between leadership style and employees’ work performance. The study recommended that leaders should try to create a good working relationship between the subordinate and the team head for improved performance. Finally, leaders should endeavour to find the best leadership style that suits the smooth running of the organization.
